Internship Business Development intern (Strategic Operations) 


YaYa is a personalized toy box rental subscription that will boost a child's brain development by using technology to match educational, high quality, age-appropriate toys to each unique personality. The service is saving parents time, money, and space by providing a care-free toy rental experience. Co-founded by mothers determined to give their kids everything by owning nothing.


This is a unique opportunity to gain first-hand experience in the US venture capital and startup ecosystem. We are offering you the chance to play a crucial part in a small team, supporting co-founders in all investment tasks, providing a holistic overview of the Angel and VC business.

Your Role


Your main responsibilities will be to work collaboratively with the founding team to:

Build business models, enhance current financial models, help with pitch decks, be involved in capital raising processes, and do due diligence on investors. 

Finding investors and due diligence to research their portfolio companies and target cold thoughtful emails. 

Attend (virtual) demo days, pitching, industry events to network and build relationships with experts in the ecosystem in order to find the right investors.

Support the founders in building their businesses relationships



You have a broad and deep financial understanding and passion to structure company strategy. 

You are passionate about startups and disruptive technologies

You are proactive, driven and able to work on your own initiative

You have outstanding oral and written communication skills

You thrive in a small team and busy work environment and can manage multiple work streams effectively

You have excellent analytical skills
